LAWN CARE

Our lawn care program has 7 timed applications starting in mid-January. Lawn care begins with an application of liquid pre-emergent which aids in the control of crabgrass and many other summer weeds. Also, a broadleaf herbicide is applied to any visible weeds that we encounter while we are servicing the property. After that, fertilization and total weed control continue throughout the year including a fall pre-emergent to aid in the prevention of winter weeds and grasses. Starting price is $50.00.

SMALL TREE AND SHRUB CARE

Small tree and shrub care also begins in mid-January with dormant oil being applied. Additional products are administered throughout the year to manage insects and diseases. For instance, crape myrtles may develop powdery mildew on the plant's leaf. When this happens, the blooms may not be as full or may not even bloom at all. By keeping fungicide applications applied throughout the year, we can minimize the impact of such a disease. Other plants may have aphids or even scale on the leaves. This service can also help control such insects in question with insecticides. Small tree and shrub care continues into November ending with a deep-root fertilization treatment. There are also 7 timed applications with this program. Starting price is $40.00.

BED WEED CONTROL

Let us take care of your flowerbeds! The first of six treatments start in March with products to prevent and control unsightly broadleaf and summer grassy weeds. Bed weed weed control continues every 12 weeks finishing in late October. There are 5-bed weed control treatments per year. The first and last rounds contain pre-emergents to prevent certain broadleaf and grassy weeds. Remember, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. We will then spot-treat throughout the season any visible weeds that we encounter. We even have products that can treat Bermuda grass that grows into junipers and other common shrubs without damaging the desired plant. Starting price is $40.00.

YEAR-LONG FIRE ANT CONTROL

One application of TopChoice to your lawn and flowerbeds and in 4-6 weeks you'll have 95 percent control of fire ants for up to 52 weeks. In addition, mole crickets, fleas, ticks, and nuisance ants are controlled for a limited time by the fire ant treatment. The primary purpose of TopChoice is to control imported red fire ants in turfgrass and landscape beds. This new insecticide provides season-long control of fire ants with a single broadcast application. Sta-Green also treats the flowerbeds which is also included in the price. The price for this application starts at $135.00.

GRUB/CHINCH BUG PREVENTION

White grubs are one of America's most notorious lawn pests. These tiny pests can cause severe damage and even ruin an entire lawn. In fact, damage has become such a concern, consumers now spend more than $100 million annually to control white grubs in the U.S. The key however, is early prevention and early Spring is a prime time to begin preparing your plan of defense. The key to keeping grubs from ruining your lawn is to stop them before they invade. If applied early, our product kills grubs, mole crickets, European crane fly larvae, billbugs, and weevils when they hatch . . . before they can cause damage. Also the product can suppress chinch bug and cutworm populations if applied when they are young. If turf damage occurs during the late summer months, we will apply a curative treatment at no additional expense to the customer. The price for this application starts at $65.00.

SPRINKLER REPAIR

We offer repairs such as raising/adjusting/replacing sprinkler heads, and sprinkler controllers and repairing leaks in the system. We install RainBird and Hunter Products. Some examples of sprinkler controllers are Rain Bird, Hunter, Irritrol, Orbit, Weathermatic, and more. 

MOSQUITO TREATMENTS

We also provide perimeter mosquito treatments. Prices start at $59.00 approx. every 30 days from March through November consisting of 9 treatments yearly.
